The Goodwood Hotel - Chichester

Good hotel with great amenities like free parking, 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar/lounge area. The staff even helped me find my lost ID card on my first stay. I highly recommend visiting!

So many appetising options for breakfast, such as cereal and fruit. Location very close to the main restaurant Farmer Butcher Chef as well as goodwood house. Also, to the golf course -amazing.

Very comfortable, friendly helpful staff, clean sheets and towels every day, quiet location, excellent food.

The view, our room looked out over the carpark, although it wasn't a problem.

It was fantastic, fabulous and in a quiet atmosphere. The atmosphere created was elegant.

The hotel is located right next to a golf course and is therefore ideal for golfers, but we are not. Tennis courts, an indoor pool and a well-equipped air-conditioned gym as well as a large park invite you to play sports or go for a walk. Chichester and Portsmouth are easily accessible by car if you wish to escape the rural environment in which the hotel is situated.

The price of the hotel also reflects the reputation of Goodwood and the golf course.

This is a brilliant quality hotel, country house style on the Goodwood estate. Facilities, staff and food were first class. It's also very good value if you are lucky enough to get the 'best price discount deal', almost the same price as Premier Inn.

The setting within the beautiful Goodwood estate was amazing.

The rooms lacked adequate plugs for charging devices at night.

The location

Very noisy as we were in a room next to a family with small children who woke us up screaming and shouting at 6.00am on Sunday morning! It would have been better if the hotel had allocated rooms to families with children in a sepaarte part of the hotel. The rooms are not air conditioned and the hotel provided portable free standing units - far too loud to sleep. Not great value for the £175 room rate!!

The bed was amazing, never seen a bed so big and comfy. The course was easy enough to enjoy as a novice golf player. Leisure facilities good.

Pool needs a bit of a tidy up

We enjoyed the thrilling action at the Goodwood Festival, soaking up the atmosphere in the Lennox Enclosure with some local beers. The pool area was fantastic, and the spa facilities were a real highlight after a long day. Great spot for relaxation and fun!

Just a heads up about the dining. Prices were a bit high, especially for drinks-two gins cost us a fortune! Service could be faster, too, a bit disappointing.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was excellent in both quantity and quality. Room was comfortable, although some of the decor could do with being updated. Spa/pool is extremely clean and modern-looking. As the hotel consists of a number of one and two-storey buildings connected together, some rooms are quite a walk through a maze of corridors, so bear this in mind when booking.

1st, it's close to goddwodd track, within a charming environment, quiet and with lots of character

Lovely king room with a garden view, complemented by superb dinner and breakfast options. The attentive staff greatly enhanced the experience, swiftly correcting an initial dining error without issue. The layout of the hotel requires quite a walk to reach dining areas, which may not suit everyone, and the bar has a somewhat clinical atmosphere. A good experience with great food choices, including excellent sashimi.

The personel were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really nice too.
